Backline Pictures (“Backline”) respects the intellectual property rights of filmmakers, rights holders, and all copyright owners. Backline operates as a private, application‑based screening and placement division. All films exhibited on Backline are submitted voluntarily by their respective owners or authorized representatives.

1. Notification of Claimed Infringement

If you believe that any content available on Backline infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA notice containing the following information:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the exact URL.
• Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good‑faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

3. Removal of Content

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, Backline will review the claim, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material, and notify the filmmaker or account holder associated with the content. Backline may terminate access for repeat infringers.

4. Counter‑Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter‑notification containing:

• Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
• Your full legal name, address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good‑faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
• A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts in your state and agreeing to accept service of process from the original complainant.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

Backline may suspend or terminate access for any filmmaker or user who repeatedly submits infringing content or violates copyright law.
