Backline does not accept unsolicited file uploads. Any unsolicited materials may be deleted unread. Only approved applicants may submit screeners through the designated intake process.
Filmmakers retain full ownership of their work. By submitting a screener, you confirm that you hold all necessary rights, clearances, and permissions to exhibit the film privately for review and potential placement.
Films hosted during the watch window or catalog period are displayed in a controlled, access‑restricted environment. While Backline employs protective measures, no system can guarantee absolute prevention of unauthorized copying or capture.
Hosting fees, re‑watch pricing, and revenue splits are defined in the filmmaker’s hosting agreement. Backline does not guarantee sales, views, or earnings.
Backline may suspend or terminate hosting, access, or placement at any time for any reason, including policy violations, rights concerns, or misuse of the platform.
