The system is simple on the surface and strict underneath. Backline is built for finished films that can stand on their own and be treated like a real release, not a test upload.

Application

There is no public form. If you are aligned with how Backline operates, you can request an application link and receive the full terms, specs, and intake details.
Placement & optional hosting
Requests should include a short introduction, a private screener link, and confirmation
that your film is finished and rights‑clear. Unsolicited file attachments may be deleted
unread. NOTE: Not currently accepting web direct applications get in contact directly with our team sound track/music clearance licenses are mandatory. All terms are for 12 months (minimum) unless stated otherwise. Throughout you will have access to 1 film placement, totaling 12 full series or films. Watch party run time (1 month) free of charge for global viewing. After the month your film gets locked with free rewatch (if you are not apart of our verified film MPG. Extended access includes: streamed revenue every rewatch sold, ($0.99-$4.99) rewatch. % breakage will be discussed before securing your screening placement. During the full month your series will be available worldwide at no cost per viewer. Throughout the public airing of the film applicants are expected to manage full coverage on marketing, digital dominance, the watch party runs live 24/7 viewer base runs from your organic communities, friends, families, public watch parties, private events.
